  When checking in (at 6:30pm - Not unreasonable) we had to call a number and wait for someone to stop waiting tables in the pub to come and check us in. Room was right next to the outdoor area of the pub (I didn't realise they were attached) so loud music played until midnight, then about an hour of talking/shouting by patrons who were leaving. Carpets felt so dirty, I made sure to wear thongs in the room. It was also overrun by bugs. Our room was entered and "made up" even though we hung the do not disturb sign on the door. At checkout, I couldn't even check out properly and when I called I was told they were closed and to just drop the key in the box at the door. I can overlook so many things if there is good customer service but they obviously don't make it a priority.

  Large serves good service cook your steak to your requirements. Nice dine in or out music. Has quiz nights too

  I will add, I'm not snooty, I have stayed in many hotels and really all I want is a clean room, good sleep and good customer service, so I was disappointed on this occasion.

  Not from this area, didn't know it was attached to so much noise, feel ripped off as we decided to stay away for a night to get away from our noisy neighbors.

  Clean rooms bed very comfy friendly staff . The ladies who clean the rooms very kind very helpfull. The lady at the reception very kind always nice chat before checkin or checkout.

  Its now 9.26pm on a Sunday night and because this room is right by a pub our not even 2 year old is 2.5hrs past bedtime, music is still pumping and we've had drunken yelling people and gates slamming and doors.

  We feel annoyed that reception doesn't advise that there will be noise from an acoustic singer from 2pm, then a dj and a foam party that should finish around 9pm when booking in for quiet night away with a toddler.
