I purchased a dining room setting only to be told it was not in stock and is a month away from delivery!!!! If it's for sale they need to have it in stock immediately as in my case I need it as soon as possible due to family arriving from overseas not happy and they don't like you calling the store to check either

Service from the store and Furniture Bazaar Customer Service was really poor. Purchased items from them and paid upfront. Wanted to pick up items rather than delivery, but was never told that you could not pick up on certain days and only had a couple of hours in the afternoon only that you could collect the goods. Was only told once we received the call to say that the items were in, which if we had of known earlier would have made us reconsider. The item we received was faulty and the store itself was unhelpful, only gave us the number for customer care but really couldn't have cared otherwise once they took the money. Customer care was even worse, telling us that even though the item was faulty (not through any fault of our own) we would have to return the item back to the store to collect a new replacement. We argued this as we should not have to hire a trailer to return an item they supplied that was faulty. If we had caused the damage, then I could understand, but that was not the case, it was a product fault. The customer service rep then agreed the replacement could be delivered to us and the other item collected as it was not our fault. But we really shouldn't have been treated the way we were and had to argue it with her. Customer care could then not give us any indication on when the replacement would be delivered and passed the buck back onto the store. The store was just as bad, Furniture Bazaar employ delivery drivers but have no idea what day they will deliver an item or when. We were finally told we could have the item delivered on a particular day but the time could only be organised a day in advance and we would be given a call to let us know the time frame for delivery. It got to 4.30pm the day before and no call. We called the store to be told they don't know and have no way of finding out what the delivery schedule would be of their own drivers, but that the drivers would call us at about dinner time. Waited and waited and received a call finally well after 7.30pm to organise for delivery the next day. Quite rude to have a company call so late giving no opportunity to work around working commitments when we had made numerous efforts to find out approximate delivery times well in advance. Again, their fault, but they really didn't give a dam. It is sad we were treated in this manner as we had seen other furniture in their store we were interested in, but would not even give this company a second thought after they way we got treated. Have gone to Comfort Style many times and been treated so much better. It was just a shame they did not stock the item we wanted. But would never come to Furniture Bazaar again.

After 2 months of battling with pilling, creasing, sagging and endless stains from something as small as a drop of water, damp cleaning cloth and even the supplied cleaning spray I decided to contact the extended warranty accidental cover company and get details for an approved technician to come clean the couch and get scotch guard applied. Within days the couch looked years old again so decided to contact the store and lodge a complaint for the poor quality of the fabric and foam used in the couch. Dealing with their customer care currently and all they can offer is to take the couch for 7-10 business days to repair the sagging foam and failing arm rest. Taking no responsibility for the cheap and nasty fabric that it is covered with and even going to the extent of saying getting it professionally cleaned voids your warranty. The people in the store are lovely to deal with, sadly their customer care are rude and quite often hang up the phone when you do not accept their poor offer to do a sub par repair.
